The City of Osaka

This is for all the Osakans (Heiji and Kazuha really) to just hang out and such. I was originally going to make it 'Kaihou High School', but that's not broad enough, seeing there are only two characters. The people posting here can shift it to the high school if they so desire though. Have fun! (the name of the topic is weird because the stupid title must be ten characters long....)

"Ran...slowly..."
"Moo...Kazuha-chan and Hattori-kun are already waiting for us for 2 hours"

Ran dashed down the streets dragging Shinichi by the arm.

"It's all your fault that we were late, so now you're going to be making up for it !"

The girl scolded. Earlier that day a certain detective just had to them side-tracked by solving yet again another small case. True this was a case but it was rather simple, nothing the police officers couldn't handle. The case had involved a lot of running and chasing therefore the young couple were now VERY late for their meeting with their Osaka friends.

"Warui, warui...but the police suspected the wrong person and I couldn't let the real culprit escape...Anyway, how am I gonna make it up? You bought a shirt for Kazuha so we can tell them that you didn't knewwhat you should buy her"

"Ran-chan! Kudo-kun!" Kazuha shouted, noticing her two friends. Heiji was beside her, leaning against the wall with a bored look on his face.

"Ah, Kazuha-chan, sorry because we are late...This suiri-otaku here wanted to solve a case..."

"Tsck...Yo, Hattori"

(Wait, I can speak as Heiji when he's not online, right?)

Heiji bumped Shinichi's shoulder gently as a friendly greeting. "What case?"

"Ah, that's okay Ran-chan. We just got here too."

"It was a piece of cake, but the police needed my help because they suspected the wrong guy...See, Ran we shouldn't have to hurry that much"

"We were late because of the traffic. It was really heavy..."

"That's because you didn't take my advice of coming in a police car, ahou!" Heiji retorted.

"Who in their right mind would want get a tour of Osaka in a police car?!" Kazuha shot back, and smiled at Shinichi before the argument could continue. "Let's get going then!"

Heiji scoffed. "Whatever..." He said as he followed the 'gang'.

"Oi, oi, don't fight...let's just get moving to the places you 2 wanted to take us"...and Kudo took Ran's hand and followed Kazuha and a angry Hattori

"Sorry, but we're going straight to Heiji's house." Kazuha apologzied. "The traffic's too heavy."

"You would almost think that something's going on." Heiji commented.

Kazuha knew what he was saying an immediately replied "No."

"Hooo, and what's going on?"

"Nothing! Nothing at all!" Kazuha quickly replied before Heiji could say anything.

"Could it be...a case?"

Ran frowned, while Kazuha waves it off."Probably just a fire.."

She stopped when a couple of policemen rushed by. Heiji's eyes glinted.

'There goes our evening...' thought Kazuha.

Kudo joined the talk betwen Hattori and the police officer

(Your city, your case)

"So...what's new?" Heiji asked the officer.

"We found more of the poison." The officer announced.

"Really? Where?"

"Under the couch.."

"Ehh...?"

"Yeah.."

Suddenly, Kudo cut in. "Tell me 'bout the case." He said.

"Ah, right." Heiji turned to the officer. "This is Kudo Shinichi..."

The officer nodded a greeting. "Nice to meet you, Kudo-san."

"Okay, so the case goes like this..." Hattori began.

Kudo nodded, frowning, ready to analyse the case.

"I was walking with Kazuha from school the other day. Suddenly, we heard this scream from a house nearby. It was Mr. Kan's house. A second later, his wife burst out the door, eyes full of tears. Two other men came out, caller her. Kazuha and I went up and asked Mrs. Kan what was wrong.

"My...my husband..!" She sobbed.

I frowned, then went inside. Mr. Kan was lying in the center of the living room, around him scattered tens of papers. I placed my hand on his cold neck, trying to feel a pulse. "Dead.." I muttered.

I looked up and saw the two other men. They were looking at each other, quite surprised.

"He's dead," I announced.

The wife sobbed even more, with the two men trying to comfort her.

"Can you go call the police?" I asked Mrs. Kan.

She nodded, walking towards the hall.

I turned my attention to the men. "May I ask who you are?"

"Ah, yes.." The first man said. He had longish brown hair in a ponytail braid, and a headband saying "ROCK" on it. He was very tall and skinny. "I am Munoka." He said. "I work for a car company."

"And I am Wamashi," The second man introduced. He was dressed very business-like, a suit and tie, wearing glasses. "I am a lawyer."

Suddenly, the door opened, and in came some officers.

Blah blah blah, investigation, blah blah.

So, we've found that:

-The guy was killed with potassium cyanide. We found traces of poison on his thumb, one of the pages of the documents, his tea cup, and just now, under the sofa.

-He was killed approximately at 4:00 pm.

-The suspects are: Mrs. Kan, Mr. Munoka, and Mr. Wamashi.

-No one has an alibi. Anyone could have done it.

-Everyone has a motive (I'll expand on that later. Or one of you guys can. xP)

So..what do you think Kudo?"

Kudo Shinichi was already thinking about it, hand on his chin.
